Indigo Children

What is an indigo child?

Indigo children, are children who are believed to possess special, psychic abilities and sometimes supernatural traits or abilities. They are sometimes also referred to as crystal children or star children. They also are known healers.

How do you know if you or your child is indigo? I know this is a question many are asking right at this very moment…below I will list characteristics and traits of indigo children. It is said that indigo children have common traits to ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in order to be diagnosed an individual must have at least 6 characteristics to be diagnosed with ADHD. Traits of Indigo children:

•Have strong self esteem, connection to source.

•Get frustrated by ritual-oriented systems that require little creativity.

•Do not respond to guilt trips, want good reasons.

•Gets bored rather easily with assigned tasks

•Are rather creative

•Are easily distractible, can do many things at once.

•Display strong intuition

•Develop abstract thinking very young

•Are gifted and or talented, highly intelligent

•Are talented daydreamers and visionaries

•Have very old,deep,wise looking eyes

•Have spiritual intelligence and or psychic skills

•Often express anger outwardly rather than inwardly and may have trouble with rage.

Traits of Inattention ADHD:

•Pay little attention to paying attention

•Do not listen when spoken to

•Fail to follow through or finish tasks

•Avoid tasks requiring sustained mental effort or concentration.

•Often loose essential school supplies needed for school and other daily tasks

•Are easily distracted Traits of Hyperactivity/Impulsivity ADHD:

•Often fidgety or squirms

•Often can remain seated

•Runs or climbs on things

•Has difficult engaging and interacting in silent time or any other activity

•Are constantly on the go, can’t stay in one setting for too long

•Talks excessively

•Blurts out answers prematurely

•Often interrupts or intrudes on others Common traits in both:

•Has difficulty with discipline and authority

•Refuse to follow orders or directions

•Simply will not do things (example standing in line is to difficult for them)

If you can answer yes to at least 6 of the characteristics below, you may be indigo!
